Chapter Six

AMERE

He decided to stay on the train that morning. He wanted to know where the woman ventured to every day.

Amere hoped he’d find out where she worked. He guessed that it wasn’t an office due to her casual attire. As he sat in the train’s seat, he imagined how great the woman must look when she was dressed up. Even in jeans and a T-shirt she stood out. Amere had seen enough women throughout his life who looked fabulous at work, or out at an evening affair, only to look rather dumpy when they weren’t dressed up and wearing heels.

The train chugged along quietly on the underground line. He wondered how the woman’s legs looked in heels, how they looked at all. He’d only seen her in jeans.

He sighed. Her face often popped into his head throughout the day. It’d become distracting. Amere felt the only way to solve his dilemma was by getting to know more about her.
